Raspberry Pi (not Edgar Allen) PoE!
After getting a Ubiquiti UniFi PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch I had been looking to see what else I can power directly from the switch to reduce cabling. In addition to reducing cabling, the other advantage of PoE powered equipment is that I can remotely power cycle the device.
I ran across a bunch of PoE to micro-USB adapters on Amazon that are capable of providing 2.4A at 5v, which is plenty for the older Raspberry Pi that I have. I got a couple to try and they worked perfectly. A little double-sided sticky tape to attach the PoE block to the case cleaned up the install a bit.

I'm very happy with them and well worth the under $12 cost.
Of course, if I had a Raspberry Pi 3B+ or a Pi 4B then I'd rather spend a little extra and get the official PoE HAT and a case that fits. But I don't.
